I enjoy reading military history but this book goes into every detail regarding the planning, preparations, espionage, politics, the actual attack on Pearl Harbor, the political fallout, the investigations and finally the trials that followed. I re-read Prange's book in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, having first read it 25 years ago after a visit to Hawaii.
