Very eerie vibes all through each episode and it left me wanting to watch the next episode. The burn is slow and Black Spot does not reveal all it's secrets even at the end. It's very slow with many many characters suffering emotionally, determined to drag the viewer down into their depths of despair. Netflix made the right call bringing it on as an original. Very fast paced with so much intrigue you really need to pay attention. Yes, it requires that you have the ability to turn on your close captions if you do not speak the aforementioned French. When I started watching I was worried it was going to be one of those over the top shows that you watch just because it's different. This is the type of mystery show you don’t want to end.
