On a spooky island, three stranded travelers find an evil doctor working with foreign spies and in control of zombies. Things are stark and heavily shadowed. In a small African port, a tawdry bar is run by a man named Webb Fallon. It's when Murks turns to murder in murdering the man in charge of the hospital blood bank Dr. Rufus Maynard, Charles Trowbridge, who was about to report him to the police that Fred in not wanting to be implicated in Dr. Maynard's murder called it quits only to end up being murdered, and sucked dry of his blood, by an outraged and deranged Murks. Take a trip down memory lane with photos of high school TV and movie icons then and now, from You watch them for the perpetually foggy streets. Now he gets his stuff on the hoof, and our heroes Dr. Terry (Livingston) and Nurse Susan (Gray) better figure things out before he depopulates the studio of its supporting players. Action Anyway, the whole thing is rather silly and empty, which is a shame because it started off quite well. You don't watch these movies looking for great cinema.

There's a lot worth forgetting about the 80's but one of the few things that decade of big hair and keyboard-drowned-music had was some of the best horror and sci-fi comedies of any time. They generally have great atmosphere and wonderful characters.

Ormond Murks (Ian Keith) is an ex-mental patient and mortician thought to be dead. You watch them for the crazed characters. A cheapie, true, but a cheapie with spook charm, only to be admired by fans who love this kind of stuff.
