This incarnation is off to a rough start because of Chary and I'm just waiting/hoping that it's all part of a plan that will make sense as opposed to just a lot of negativity and lack of actual listening to his pateient.
I feel like there's a lot more to each image than is immediately apparent, like the details on every page are going to play a role later on, lending itself to future readings.

I understand that they wanted to reinvent the character, however, if it's not going to stay true to the horror genre, why call the book Vampirella? In fact, Vampirella thumbs her nose directly at PC culture about midway through the issue. If you are a hardcore Vampi fan, this is a no brainer. Whether you're a longtime Vampirella fan or a total newbie, this is the chance to jump into a great new series and help the character reach her next milestone.
